Twitch Alert Integration - PatchPulse
Instant Game Update Intelligence
Connect PatchPulse to Your Broadcast
Push real-time patch notes directly to your OBS or Streamlabs scene. Our webhook listener runs on a lightweight browser source, requiring zero backend configuration on your end.
1. Authenticate Your Channel
Log into your PatchPulse developer portal and authorize your Twitch account via OAuth. This grants read-only access to your channel metadata for safe alert routing.
2. Generate Your Stream Token
Navigate to Settings > Twitch Integration and copy your unique 32-character WebSocket token. This token binds the alert feed exclusively to your broadcaster ID.
3. Add Browser Source in OBS
Create a new Browser Source, paste the provided PatchPulse overlay URL, and inject your stream token into the query parameters. Set resolution to 1920x1080 with 30 FPS.
Tailor Alerts to Your Stream Brand
Match your patch notifications to your overlay palette and audio cues. Every CSS variable and sound trigger is adjustable through the PatchPulse dashboard.
Dynamic Color Mapping
Define hex codes for critical hotfixes, balance patches, and scheduled maintenance windows. Toggle between dark mode, neon accent, or flat UI presets without editing CSS manually.
Audio Cue Configuration
Upload custom WAV or MP3 alerts for different patch severities. Set volume normalization to -12 LUFS to prevent audio clipping during peak gameplay moments.
Position & Animation Controls
Adjust slide-in direction, display duration, and fade thresholds. Enable smart stacking to prevent alert overlap when multiple titles release updates simultaneously.
Keep Your Chat Ahead of the Meta
Deploy live patch intelligence without interrupting your gameplay flow. Streamers like Valkyrae and Shroud rely on PatchPulse to keep viewers informed during ranked seasons and tournament broadcasts.
